Contemporary art demands more than a simple visual communication or a passive affirmation/consumption. This course aims to discuss how political agendas (especially after the Berlin Wall’s collapse in 1989), a monopolar economic world, deepening disparities, and increasing environmental problems changed the perception and production of art.
